Moving Day!!
I can't believe its FINALLY here!! We have been looking and looking for a new house all summer. We had a couple failed offers and then THIS house went on the market. It was meant to be. We had an offer in on another house, paid for the inspection and everything and it fell through because it had horrific foundation issues. I immediately told our realtor that we needed to see this house. We put an offer in after looking at it and someone outbid us. I was devastated and about to give up on the idea of finding the perfect home for us. A few days later, I got a text from my realtor saying that the deal fell through and the house hadn't even been listed again. It turns out that after that deal fell through the owner mentioned that he thought he knew us. He did! Well he knew Joe. He really wanted a family to buy his house and enjoy it like he had wanted to before his divorce. We put in our offer and he agreed to things that he wasn't originally going to do for anyone and that is the only way we were able to buy the house. We LOVE it!! Home sweet home!

First Day of 2nd Grade!
Lots of new things happening around here! The biggest being that we finally bought a house that fits our needs. We close on it in a few days. With the new house came a new school. Veda is very sad about leaving behind friends from her old school but seems excited about making new friends this year. She was so brave. I could tell she was a little nervous but she held her head high and kept a smile on her face. Proud mama here! I know she didn't want Grayson to feel sad so she kept herself together!
Kindergarten!
New town and new school. Today was the 1st day of Kindergarten for Grayson. Wowza, there were a lot of tears. From him AND mommy. How was it possible that this little one is already 5 and already in Kindergarten? I'm not ready and he was very apprehensive. He put on a good show about being excited, until we arrived and it was time to go to class. Then he sobbed. I hugged him as tight as I could and I turned around and walked away with tears streaming down my face. Thankfully, when we arrived we were greeted with the most wonderful teacher, Mrs. Liebnau. What a blessing. She was so friendly and helped keep him in the classroom. I'm sure things will get better over time.

Yogi Bear!
Another fantastic camping trip is in the books! There were a few bumps in the road but fun was had by all. It all started with momma being a little tired because I had worked the night before. I came home to sleep for a few hours before daddy got home. Miss Veda woke me up saying her throat hurt really bad, and when I looked at it, it looked really bad. I instantly knew she had strep so I called the peds office. Just before heading there Veda needed help getting ready so I was brushing her hair and all of the sudden she said she felt dizzy and dropped to the floor. I felt panic overcome me but she stood right up and said she was going to throw up, and that she did. A few minutes later we were off to the peds office where they indeed diagnosed her with strep. Dr. Haidar said you would need antibiotics but would be up and running by morning and that we shouldn't skip our trip camping. Veda agreed. poor girl was willing to ride in the car with a bucket by her side. She didn't throw up again until we got there. Once she got a good night sleep she felt much better and enjoyed the trip! We had a blast and can't wait to go again next year!

Another Surgery
Grayson endured another surgery today and he amazes me! Such a brave little boy. He had to have an orciopexy done again because the last one failed. I hate to see him being put under anesthesia but he did it without any complications. Praying this one works. There is nothing worse than the fear a mother has when things are out of her control. I worry that his chances at children in the future will be compromised and I worry that some how its my fault. Maybe he should have had his first surgery sooner, maybe I should have gotten a second opinion about this surgery sooner. I don't know. All I can do is pray that this one is successful and he will have as many children as he wishes in his future. I love you little buddy. Much!

Summer Vacation 2015
Woohoo! Vacation, although cut 2 days short due to a wicked storm that struck Traverse City, Mi. and left us without power, was a fantastic time. This was the 2nd year in a row that the Adamski clan joined us for some summer adventures. We also brought cousin Karleigh so Veda didn't have to be the only girl! We spent endless hours jumping off the dock, canoeing, paddling in the paddle boat, riding bikes, and going to the beach. This is what summer is all about!

First camping trip!
So we have had a pop-up camper for several years but have basically been to chicken to actually take it anywhere outside our yard, for the simple fact of having 3 young kids and two dogs! We didn't have plans for memorial weekend so I decided last minute that we would camp and make the best of it, and that we did. Most campgrounds were booked solid that particular weekend but luckily we found one, Twin Acres in Waterville, Ohio who had a cancellation. It took tons of prepping and a lot of stress to get the new tires, title, registration, and all the gear we would need for the weekend.... But we did it and we made some great memories. The campground offered lots of activities. We enjoyed a fabulous treasure hunt, where we had a peice of paper labels A thru Z and we had to go to campsites and ask for objects that began with each letter. Later was candy bar bingo. You paid for bingo cards with candy bars and you won can't bars for a Bingo. Veda was a lucky winner of 14 candy bars and was nice enough to share with her brothers. The pond was a big hit for swimming. Saturday night was a DJ dance party and Sunday was hot wheel race. It was a blast and we can't wait to do it again!
