This has been quite a week and I have some catching up to do! The kids have been sick, mostly Veda with a fever and an awful hacking cough. Thankfully everyone is on the mend now! Here are the kids in the middle of their misery.....

This fur kid doesn't smile too often anymore but she was rather happy and feeling good today!! Makes my heart smile too!

Veda enjoyed helping mommy make her Valentines for her friends at preschool. She grumbled a bit at the end since she had to write her name 25 times!

Mommy, mo?! Mommy, mo?! (Mommy more) I was bribing the kids to allow me to take pictures a few days ago with candy of course. Good thing the dentist doesn't read the blog. and so this sweet face was begging me for mo candy :)

Trying to photograph my own children proves to be no easy task! Luckily Auntie Kasara was available to help me today. These are in no way perfection but they are photos of my children and I love them!

Grayson was walking around the house jibber jabbering and carrying on with the phone to his ear, he even added a fake laugh in there! So funny to just listen.
35/365 Saturday Mornings
The kids have taken a great liking to our iPhones. In particular the app monkey lunchbox, so while Joe and I were getting breakfast around the kids were entertained!

Grayson Turns Two!!
Dear Grayson,
Without a doubt you are the sweetest boy I have ever met and I am so proud and honored to be your mommy. I cannot believe it has been 2 years since we welcomed you into the world at a whopping 9lbs 1oz! These past two years have been amazing. Just the other day mommy and daddy were leaving for date night and when I put my coat on, you ran up to me and said "mommy, tiss" as you puckered your lips for me to kiss you. My heart nearly melted. It was the sweetest moment and I will never forget it. You are showing so much of your personality these days and have begun talking up a storm! I love to just sit and listen to you and watch you play. You love books and watching you "read" them is adorable. You get comfy and flip through the pages while mumbling what you think is the story! You and your sister take turns with each book, she will start the story and then you read it back to her in your little mumbles. You adore Veda. Everything she does, you want to do...this does not exclude dressing up as a princess! I'm sorry little man but I have lots of evidence in the form of pictures for you when your older! We decided it was time to get you some clothes to play "dress up" in. Now you get to dress up as a fireman, a police officer, and a super hero! I promise to capture these moments too! At this stage in your life your favorite things that you cannot live without are opie and a little stuffed dalmation puppy. If you have forgotten to take the puppy to bed with you, I hear your panicked voice calling for "puppy" until mommy or daddy bring it to you. Grayson, I am excited to continue watching you grow into your personality. I love you so much and feel blessed to be your mommy. You are one of a kind and we have a very special bond. I love you to the moon and back little man! Muah!! I enjoyed our special day together!

Grayson is totally infatuated with Elmo right now so we are celebrating his birthday Elmo style tomorrow. Joe and I had fun decorating it together, yep I said it! Daddy helped! I was shocked, he's not the decorating type!
