I need a swift kick.....

......of motivation! I failed miserably trying to post a photo for 365 days so I have finally thrown in the towel on that. Life is just busy and chaotic and I would prefer to take meaningful photos of our days instead of just a hurried photo that I NEED for my blog. I'm also far behind on updates with the littles.

Grant continues to be amazing. At his 4 month appointment (yes, I know that was almost 2 whole months ago, but I said I was behind) he weighed in at a whopping 19lbs 5oz. WOAH! He loves to eat! I weighed him on a friend's baby scale the other day and he was just over 21lbs. I am interested to see how accurate it is once we have his 6 month appointment. Grant is so smiley and almost always happy. He has learned to roll just recently from his belly to his back and refuses to roll the other way. He is also scooting backwards and sitting up very well! Since he is approaching 6 months he will start to join us at the dinner table to explore the art of eating! He has had a nibble of banana and avocado so far and seemed to enjoy it. He is always very interested in watching us eat so I feel is just about ready.

The older two are tired of being cooped up in the house with each other. This usually ends with a lot of fighting and yelling. They have a love/hate relationship at the moment. Most mornings start off with them playing very well together...usually they are playing "honey's" meaning that one of them is mommy and one is daddy or baby and they call each other honey and pretend to live as adults. Its adorable! The fighting begins when Grayson has had enough and wants to play garbage man and Veda says No! I have my hands full with these two.

Preschool is going well with Veda, However I feel like she isn't getting much more than a social workout with it since its basically the same curriculum as last year, which is fine but I want to be sure that she is ready for kindergarten next year. Tear. I cannot believe I just said kindergarten next year. Sigh. Time has gone way to fast. My little girl is turning into a little lady.
Just a few days until Christmas! The kids are so excited. They look for Nixon, the elf every morning to be sure he had left the night before to report back to Santa and returned to a new location in the house. Nixon is always up to mischeif. Oh how I love the magic that surrounds Christmas! Now, all I am requesting now is a bit of snow. Veda wore her PJ's inside out tonight in hopes of snow. Childhood is amazing!

Almost 5 months and learning to sit up in his own! However, he still doesn't want to roll over! He has done it only a few times!

The big game is this weekend. Michigan vs Ohio State so the kids at preschool dressed for their team! Go Blue!

This is what happens when The older two are mean to each other all day! Time alone in their rooms to reflect on their behaviors and then a good 5 mins if hand holding.

House full of sickies. First it was hand, foot, mouth disease and now croup. I have to thank the zoo and preschool for these wonderful germs.
