10 Months!

What an incredible month for milestones! You discovered the stairs and crawl VERY fast up them. I am always one step behind you because you think its fun to stand on the steps, lose balance, and tumble backwards. I'm thrilled that you have not yet learned this the hard way and I pray that you don't! Just a few days ago you started really concentrating on walking, you took your first steps while Mommy was working, to say I was sad is an understatement. You know, there is an unspoken rule that babies only complete milestones when mommy is present!! Now that you are trying to walk, you are always bumping your head on EVERYTHING! One booboo will heal and BAM, there is another one. I often think other parents look at you and think about calling child protective services on me because of your battle wounds. Silly boy, your so wobbly!

I try nonstop to get you to say ma-ma but you instead, say da-da! Figures doesn't it? You chatter and yell and love to hear your own voice. You have taken on biting and nursing gymnastics.....feeding time is interesting to say the least. You are really enjoying "real" food now. You aren't picky, you eat everything that we eat...except the big no no's of course. The sippy cup is a different story. You haven't quite mastered that yet. You prefer to just bite it and throw it on the floor. We will just keep trying!

Veda and Grayson are subjects of much interest to you these days. You follow them everywhere they go. Veda loves to make you belly laugh and just about anything she does produces that infectious laugh. Grayson is a little frustrated with your affection. He often tries to get you away from his toys. He will even drag you by your feet away from them...your never phased and you always laugh. Such a joy. 

You are not a big fan of being left to play by yourself on the floor while mommy does dishes or vacuums so you are worn on my back in a wrap a lot, which usually induces sleep within 5 minutes. Most of the time you are very happy and just want all the attention to be on you. Im excited to see what the next month brings. 

9 month well check up

Grant, you must slow down!!! Your growing far too fast! Your 9 month appt was earlier this week and you are 23lbs and 28 inches!!! Dr. Haidar says your perfect!

My little Scholar

Hard to believe that your preschool days are coming to an end. It was a fabulous 2 years and you made a lot of friends! Although your slightly hesitant about kindergarten, I know your going to love it!

Playing Together

I look over and all 3 littles are playing nicely! I LOVE when this sort of thing happens!

Sorry Grant! I know your going to hate me for this someday but I love chubby, naked baby booties!

Easter

Everyone knows that Easter isn't all about a bunny who hops around house to house leaving way to much candy for children but nonetheless my lovely littles love the Easter bunny and all that surrounds the holiday. I myself, am not a church goer.... Yet. I need to get motivated to find a church in which my family can grow up in an adopt their own beliefs. Until that day happens Veda enlightens us with her learnings from her Christian preschool. I love that she has learned the true meaning of holidays.
Easter morning was spent searching for hidden Easter eggs and shuffling through baskets to see who got what. We enjoyed breakfast and lounging until it was time to go to nana and pals for dinner...... And more baskets with more candy. We had a wonderful day!

Veda's first movie!

Saturday afternoon we enjoyed your first movie. "The Croods" in 3D was so fun! You enjoyed the whole thing. It was my first 3D movie and I can't wait to enjoy more with you.
